My name is Mike Hampton, and I live in a
rural suburb southeast of Raleigh, NC. There, along with my wife and
two daughters, I am able to enjoy reasonably unpolluted night skies with
my trusty Dobsonian Reflector. That is, when I'm not in front of my computer!
It’s a long drive to everywhere, but well worth the trouble.
My wife and I both are active in our church, and are part of the local
Emmaus community.
During the day I'm employed as an electrical project engineer, designing
microwave control system software and hardware at a firm located outside
of the Research Triangle Park.
